Welcome to my rather plain, but hopefully interesting, website.  My more colorful characters in my family tree include a Frenchman who came over with Lafayette and decided not to go back to France.  He fought in the last battle of our Revolutionary War in Yorktown and even came away with a sword.  I photographed that sword in April, 2000 and you can view those photos in the SIPPY section.  There are also photos of Joseph's widow, Lucretia, and her second husband, Samuel Lane.  In that same area you will find a photo of Ben Sippy, outlaw turned lawman.  He was the short-lived Town Marshall of Tombstone, Arizona the year before the infamous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
